Each day in the studio, armed with ceramic stains, I confront a blank canvas awaiting my response. It begins with the idea of capturing time; an artifact of the interplay between myself and the clay. The work is an exploration of color and rhythm and a meditation on form. The result is an intimate interaction between myself and the clay: a record of hand craft and awareness of self.
